ECZ-ID Intent

Defines the authorised objective, constraints and validity of what a Passport may do.

Covered places for authorised Intents. An Intent is authorised only by an owner or administrator, and is enforced only where an enforcement point mediates the action.

Payment authorises nothing: an owner or administrator authorises every Intent. Monthly renews until you cancel; annual prepaid is one payment for exactly 12 months and does not renew.

Some earlier ECZ-ID products — the paid specialised Passport plans, cloud and provider add-ons, outcome packs, advanced infrastructure services and the first KYA packs — are no longer offered to new customers. If you hold one, it stays supported: renewals, entitlements and management continue, and you can manage it after signing in. The specialised Passports themselves are shown above, in the Upgrade Programme; everything else has its current replacement in the sections above.

Questions and boundaries

Is Declared a real ECZ-ID?
Yes. It is a real, permanent ECZ-ID with a public Resolver record. It records what your organisation asserts.
Is Declared independently verified?
No. Declared is self-declared. Verified and Assured add independent checks of your organisation.
Are the seven Passport families free?
Yes. The identity is free for every family — no card and no payment is needed to create it. A family can be acquired once it is open.
Does Verified or Assured verify every child Passport?
No. A stronger Parent tier strengthens the organisation. It does not make an Agent, MCP server, API or other child independently Verified or Assured.
Does an ECZ-ID mean something is safe, certified or compliant?
No. An ECZ-ID identifies. It is not proof that anything is safe, secure, compliant, certified or approved.
What happens to products no longer on this page?
They remain supported for the customers who hold them — renewals, entitlements and management continue. New customers are offered their current replacements.
Can I buy a specialised Passport, such as a Drone or Marine Vessel Passport?
Not yet. The thirty specialised Passports are being upgraded to the current standard before new acquisition reopens. They have no price and no checkout today. If you already hold one, it stays supported: sign in to manage it.
Does buying an Assurance Kit, an Evidence Pack or a service verify anything?
No. A kit helps you prepare evidence and a service is work we do with you. Neither creates ECZ-ID verification, certification or approval.
Does my ECZ-ID change if I upgrade?
No. Upgrading or buying never changes your ECZ-ID.

How it works

  1. Choose what you identify

    Your organisation, or an agent, MCP server, plugin, API, device, SDK or service.

  2. Sign in once

    With Google or a one-time email code. No card.

  3. Reuse or create your Parent

    Your organisation’s Business Passport is reused if it exists; otherwise a free Declared one is created.

  4. Issue the Passport

    You confirm before anything is published. The same subject always returns the same Passport.

  5. Publish

    A public Resolver record and a machine-readable record, with a badge and QR code.

  6. Re-check current state

    Anyone relying on it reads the live record at the Resolver, not a copy.

ECZ-ID Core issues and holds the canonical record. TrustOps handles acquisition, setup and your account. The Resolver shows the public record. Payment never makes proof real.
